*Donations are gratefully accepted

This class is focused on the connection between breath and movement to release accumulations of stress and tension. Exercises gently balance and align the spine and pelvis; their imbalances are a major source of back and neck pain. This approach leads to a relaxed, quiet mind... and the ability to be fully present for the activities of life.

Please bring your own mat, if you have one. Tony will also be bringing some for those who need it!

Renewable Wisdom Circle with Sue Dreamweaver Spielman

When: Sunday: 10:00am - 11:30

Where: Dennis Weaver Park

You are invited to participate with your existing and new-found community, in exploring a grounded kinship to our ancestors. Renewable wisdom will be shared in Circle, honoring the relationship of ourselves in nature, and nature within ourselves. We will be aligning our contemporary choreography and design to the movement that Everything is Related.

What to bring: Something to sit on, in case the ground is wet or snowy. You could also bring a sack lunch if you want to stay by the river for a picnic. The next program will start at 12:30

Communication and Community in Polarized times with Christi Strickland

When: Sunday: 12:30pm - 2:00pm

Where: United Church of the San Juans

This experiential workshop will focus on theory and tools for communication during polarized times. It will include contemplative skills for working with your own mind and automatic reactions during highly charged conversations, as well as dialogue tools for keeping conversations open and (hopefully!) productive. We will also explore some current models for political dialogue that you may want to bring to your communities.
